As if the ‘Weather Bomb’ pounding New Zealand last night wasn’t weird enough, we woke up to even more bizarre events: the Hurricanes had won on the road in South Africa (okay, it was against the Lions), and Dave Rennie’s Chiefs team spanked the Blues with a first half performance that sent them packing back up State Highway 1 with their tail between their legs.
Oh, and anyone see Aaron Cruden’s kicking? Sublime.
