Well that was a brilliant test match. Commiserations to Ireland too, because you were so close. And also, the northerners gave those arrogant naysayers in the NZ media something to chew on.

What a nerve wracking test! I can't believe the ABs won it in the dying minutes.

Statistics are interesting because the All Blacks did have the upper hand. But our scrum was given a good going over (and we weren't help by our rattled front row conceding far too many penalties).

Favourite moment of the match? The Sonny Bill Williams/Cian Healy stand off.

The game swung against the ABs with Piri and Ali Williams coming on. Williams gave away a stupid penalty, but then again, he has never learnt so why on earth was he going to now?

I liked the look of that Cane boy. But our forwards need some beefing up. We are not all there without Brad Thorne and Jerome Kaino.

McCaw had a shocker. How many balls did he drop? Concerns also with Reid and his concussion. He should be careful and not play next week. No game is that important.

Everyone is saving what a difference a week makes. But I never thought Ireland were a bad team to begin with. The question is - did they play themselves out of contention for next week - or have they got one more game in them for Saturday?
