All Black RWC 2011 Squad World Cup Experience

Been there, done that ... but only got the t-shirt to show for it. Looking at the squad, this radial graphic shows which All Blacks have played at a World Cup before, and therefore where our core layers of experience lie.

What do you think? Any surprises in this for you? Remember Corey Flynn in 2003? No, Neither do I.

Going to work on doing these for all 20 squads - at time of posting 2-3 countries have still to announce their squads before the deadline.

This is a really fantastic graphic emphasising the experience in the squad.

Overall, I'm reasonably happy with the selections. I want to give special ups to Piri Weepu and Ma'a Nonu who both didn't make the 2007 squad, but chose to stick around anyway when they must have been so extremely disappointed. I hope that they'll be rewarded for staying the course in October.

Also, although I didn't pick it, I'm really pleased that Zac Guildford has made it into the squad. Warm fuzzy time!

Yeah nice graphs bro. A more detailed comparison could possibly be made showing teams experience based on number of tests as a lot happens in four years. A lot of work granted. I sincerely hope you made these graphs at work!!! Cheers
